--Feng Shui - where to start?--

De-clutter. That about sums it up. For Feng Shui to work, one has to start by removing clutter. Clutter blocks the energy of a space, and can be depressing to those in the space. Clutter also represents things that have gone by - are in the past - are used up.

And by de-cluttering, this means not piling up stuff into neat little stacks - you have to actually get rid of the stuff that you don't need and are not using. Neat little stacks of stuff is still clutter!

Also, clutter can be in closets and in drawers - so be thorough with your de-cluttering!

You had some interesting comments at one point about clutter that people are not in tune with. For example storing stuff under your bed. Or even more interesting, the number of keys on your key ring as clutter.
